Wollongong District Court is located in the same court complex as the Wollongong Local Court and shares the same contact details and registry.
The Court presides over serious criminal trials and sentencing matters for charges such as sexual assault, robbery, fraud and commercial drug supply.
Wollongong District Court Court also determines appeals that are made to it from the various, surrounding Local Courts, such as Wollongong Local Court, Port Kembla Local Court and Albion Park Local Court.
