Parramatta Local Court
Parramatta Local Court is one of the largest court complexes in NSW and covers one of the largest catchment areas in its Criminal Law Division.
It deals with charges from the Parramatta, Holroyd and Ryde Local Area Commands and matters arising from within the Hills District.
Our Criminal Lawyers from our Parramatta office appear almost daily before the Court in all types of criminal matters, ranging from less serious matters such as common assault, drug possession and AVOs to more serious charges, such as sexual offences and fraud.
Parramatta Local Court deals with prosecutions brought by the NSW Police and also more serious matters that are prosecuted by the Office of the Director of Public prosecutions. Most of the serious matters that commence at the Local Court level are then committed for trial or sentence to Parramatta District Court, where our criminal lawyers regularly attend.
