Fairfield Local Court – Criminal Lawyers
Fairfield Local Court is not a large courthouse and only has two operating courtrooms at any one time. The Court deals with all types of matters, particularly criminal offences and serious driving offences.
All offences alleged to have been committed in the Fairfield Local Area Command are listed before Fairfield Local Court in its Criminal Division. The Local Area Command covers suburbs such as Canley Vale, Fairfield, Horsley Park, Smithfield and Wetherill Park.
Matters that are usually heard to finality at Fairfield Local Court are minor assault charges, AVOs, drug offences and public order offences and offences against police. More serious matters and any appeals from Fairfield Local Court are transferred to Parramatta District Court.
