The Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 2002 provides that a real estate agent must not list a residential property for sale unless the Contract for Sale prepared in accordance with the Conveyancing Act 1919 has been prepared and with the agent. For a vendor this means they need to engage a lawyer who will act quickly to prepare the Contract for Sale, and with the required expertise to ensure the Contract complies with the provisions of the Conveyancing Act.

Just a quick note to say thank you for a great result yesterday. I would highly recommend you to any of circle of family and friends if they ever require representation.
If the staff handling our matter were busy throughout the day they would return calls as quickly as possible, the same day. They kept us informed of any changes promptly and spoke to us in simple terms and not ‘Legal Jargon’.
Have used Prime Lawyers a few times for different situations. Attention to detail has been great and they have always run me through all of the options available. Highly recommended.
